Imagine Cup 09: Brazil rocks on the way to Egypt! 4/6/09
Hey there!
The Imagine Cup 2009 results are just out, and we’re proud to announce that the Brazilian delegation this year is the largest Brazilian delegation in history! For the first time, we have finalists in SEVEN out of the nine categories, and two awards!
Here’s the full list :
- Software Design – Virtual Dreams
- Embedded Development – OpenLab
- Game Development – Levv IT
- IT Challenge – memy, Thiago Cabral
- MashUp – Virtual Dreams

- Design – Willburn
- Interoperability Award – Proativa Team
- Tablet Accessibility Award – IC – UNICAMP
The results are yet to come for the Accessibility Award (semi-finalists: hiTechGirls), which doesn’t have finals in Egypt, and Multipoint Education Award (semi-finalists not announced yet).
I’d like to thank everyone that helped us in this journey, and I’m sure we’ll be able to represent Brazil with all of our energy! And of course, very special thanks to Eduardo, Bruno and Bruno, members of the Virtual Dreams team!
